Waters Run Guest House & Suite is a tranquil, refreshing B&B in the heart of the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland.  Leave the city behind and experience the rejuvenating effects of the quiet calming sounds of nature.  Surrounded by Savage River State forest, our 90-acre farm can be your haven to get away from it all.  



Our warm weather guests enjoy whitewater rafting, kayaking, boating, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding. Cold weather enthusiasts spend their days downhill skiing, cross country skiing, hunting, shopping and frequenting the assorted restaurants. Waters Run is a great place for couples, young families, sportsmen, nature lovers, retired travelers and any who thrive on comfort. You can hike or cross country ski around our property and get to know the cows and horses.  Soak in the fragrant and delightful colors of our many flower gardens. Take a nature hike, hayride, or a relaxing canoe trip with us. Summer evenings can mean sitting around a campfire consuming smores! In the winter, sled down the hill between the orchard and hay field, then enjoy a warm fire with hot cider.

Historical sites and natural wonders await you. Home to the highest waterfall in Maryland, our part of the world has a variety to offer. Enjoy Deep Creek Lake, the Wisp Ski area, and hiking or birding at the numerous State Parks only minutes away. Visit: Frank Lloyd Wrights architectural wonder, Fallingwater, a nostalgic Amish community, the steam powered Scenic Railroad, or explore Laurel Caverns or Smoke Hole Caverns (Civil War Historical site). There are antique stores, a Simon-Pearce factory and showroom, and a multitude of unique shops offering sculptures and stained glass treasures.
