This family-friendly beach house is just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon Coast. The house is updated with modern amenities, yet it has a cozy, comfortable feel. Shoreside is the perfect spot for a family vacation or a getaway with good friends. Shoreside is designed to be enjoyed by large families and groups that need a good balance of private and common areas. We have a large family and we spend lots of time here, so you will notice that the house is very well-equipped for your comfort, convenience, and fun. You will have access to the entire house and to a spacious yard. There is ample parking on both sides of the house, and there is also plenty of room for a boat. Just one mile south of the very center of Rockaway Beach, Shoreside is located adjacent to a long, sandy beach that is one of the best in town. Our beach is wide, uncrowded, clean, and dogs are welcome there. It is bordered by a grassy dune, and it is the perfect spot for making sand castles, sunbathing, flying kites, and hunting for shells and agates. The beach is also just right for bonfires! Just under a mile south of the house, at the end of Shand Avenue, is another wonderful beach with a creek to splash in and piles of driftwood for constructing forts.

All 4 bedrooms have a queen size bed, 3 of these bedrooms also have 2 twins.

Effective March 2021: The state of Oregon continues it's efforts to control covid 19 using the basic mitigation measures that have defined this pandemic: wearing a face covering, keeping physical distance, washing hands often and refraining from touching face. The degree of protective measures in the community will be tied directly to the spread of covid 19 in the community and may increase or decrease periodically, as spread in the county increases or decreases. The governor has given OHA (Oregon Health Authority) the task of assessing a risk level metrics every two weeks determining what that county will adhere to. Essentially, in regards to vacation rentals, Low risk allows for 10 people from no more than 4 households to gather, Moderate risk where no more than 8 people from no more than 2 households can gather (where we are at right now) and the two highest (High risk and Extreme risk) both allow for 6 people from no more than 2 households gather. Please be aware of these restrictions.
